Peony Inspiration

I am meeting with my Florist this month. I need to bring some flower inspiration with me. I know I want white peonies for my bouquet. And I think I want white and blush peonies for the girls. I need help with the boutonnieres though. Ranunculus, maybe? I'm not sure what the top left boutonniere is, does anyone know? I really like that one! But I'm sure my florist will know. I'm hoping he will help me with designing something for our alter at church and our head table at the reception. We are sticking with candle centerpieces (which I love by the way!). I will save that for another post!

What kind of flowers are you having for your wedding?

I heart Peonies

My knot checklist is telling me I should decide on floral scheme and choose my flowers. Most brides already KNOW what flowers they want at the beginning of their engagement. But mine have changed a few times. At first I had to have Calla lilies....

But then decided they were too modern. And I just didn't love them...

Then I remembered that my Grandparents use to have a peony garden on the side of their house...and when I started seeing pictures of peonies...I instantly fell in love. So, I have made my final decision. I want my bouquet to be a bundle of peonies. Aren't they just beautiful?! My personal favorite is the bottom row-middle.

I definitely want all white/cream peonies for my bouquet. But I think I want my girls to carry cream and blush peonies. They will be wearing this dress....(I can't show you my dress-Mikey reads my blog!)

But I have one problem...what will the boutonnieres be? Peonies are too big to be a boutonniere...Aren't they? So, then do I add some ranunculuses to our bouquets? (See above boutonniere is a ranunculus)

I really had my heart set on an ALL peony bouquet....and Mike doesn't really care about flowers. I need your help!

I {heart} these bouquets

Now that all my vendors have been chosen and booked. I can relax and get on the more FUN stuff....like bouquets! I've always wanted a white bouquet. And at first I thought I wanted calla lilies. However, I want a more classic (or vintage) bouquet.

No roses (too popular) and it must be 'round'. It sounds easy...but it's actually hard to find. There are so many pretty flowers.

Like the Dahlia....it's so pretty and different..

Then there are these beauties...

I think I like the Peony bouquet the best. But it's so hard too choose! (I'm so indecisive!)
