"Indecisiveness" - just not being able to decide, one way or another - is a situation that seems to bother many people.
"Every decision you make
is a mistake."
- Edward Dahlberg
I found this Quote, and it got me thinking about things.
I am the most indecisive person that I know. And it varies between big decisions like choosing the right person you want to marry to small decisions like if I want Wendy's or Mcdonald's for dinner. I'm not sure how I came to be like this. But then I thought about my Dad. He is pretty indecisive too. It can take him weeks or even months to buy a new washer and dryer. But he can buy a XBOX 360 and a Playstation 3 with no questions asked. Strange....
I vary between making hasty and impulsive decisions and becoming paralyzed from making any decisions at all. So, how do I fix this? I will happily take suggestions.
Well, I decided to start small. Today I made a small decision...I decided to make chili for dinner instead of burgers. Ha! Tomorrow I will try something more difficult. Hhmm, maybe
I've come to realize life is full of tough decisions, dilemmas, seemingly no-win situations, times when we flat out don't know what to do-but we still have to do something.....otherwise we are just wasting lots of precious time.
