So, I've decided to enroll myself in the South Beach Diet online.  I have done this diet before and it works!  I just need some motivation to get me in the groove.....I know some of you know, but for those of you who don't let me tell you how I lost 
120 pounds.  Yes, I said 120 pounds!  When I graduated High School (age 17) I started to feel a little chunky..but I was only a size 9 so I didn't think too much of it, however I was use to being a size 5/6.  So a size 9 was very depressing.  But I carried on with my life.  I was never a big eater or a "overloader" of junk food.  But I continuously kept gaining weight.  I finally went to the doctor  a year later when my size 16 pants were too tight and I was 180 lbs......He insisted it was my thyroid.  He put me on a thyroid medicine for about 6 months.  It didn't do anything.  At this point, I was getting headaches every day and I felt tired all the time.  By the way, I also tried every diet imaginable....Weight Watchers, Atkins, Slimfast, The Zone, etc...
NOTHING WORKED!  At the age of 19 I was 240 pounds and diagnosed with 
Metabolic Syndrome (or Insulin Resistance).  My Endocrinologist put me on Metformin which I am still currently taking and had me start the South Beach Diet.  I started shedding pounds so fast...it was 
amazing!!! The first week I lost 10!  And in 1 year I lost a total of 120 pounds!  I felt amazing!  I was back into my size 9's and I felt 
fantabulous!  But I still wasn't back into my 5's.....but I wasn't complaining.  Until now.........................
Since 2003 I have put about 30 pounds back on.  I became fond of bars and high calorie drinks...and I got "comfortable" with Mike.  It's very depressing!  But I have BIG PLANS!!!! I am joining the South Beach Diet online program, for motivation and some help planning out meals and such.  And I also have a mountain bike with a brand new gel set I got for Christmas, I plan to ride everyday for at least an hour.  I have a stationary bike in my computer room I can use when the weather is bad, too!  I want to loose at least 30  but 50 is my goal.  I
 really want my size 5's back.....
