Makeup: Round 2

I went to MAC for my 2nd makeup trial. I've never bought any MAC products but have always wanted to. And I'm SO glad I did!

She did a wonderful job! I loved it soooo much....I bought $243 of makeup! I've never done that in my life. But I think it was well worth it.

I didn't buy the lipstick because I didn't really like it.

This picture was taken about 12 hours later....It stayed on without any touch ups!

She even mapped it out for me (with real makeup) so I know exactly what she did.


I've asked Bella (moh) do it for me the day of. She is sooo sweet!

Finally.

I finally bought Mike's wedding ring today! It was a special order-so we won't be receiving it for another 3-4 weeks. I can't wait to take pictures of our wedding bands along with my e-ring. I'm also relieved that I can cross this big purchase off my list. I was really worried about it...from the holidays and other special occasions-I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to afford it. But with a little saving-I was able to do it! Thank goodness-because I was starting to have nightmares that we were at the alter and I was like "OH SHIT! I forgot to buy the ring!"....trust me-it isn't a good feeling.

It was cute-as we were leaving the store Mike had this cheesy grin on his face and says "I can't wait!!". And I just smiled and thought neither can I!

Saturday shopping adventure!

After Bella left, Mike and I decided to go shopping. He needed some new jeans and I wanted to look for some black shoes.

And guess what?! I found my shoes! And they were on SALE!!! What a lucky girl I was! Only $26.99! Ya gotta love Kohl's!

They are pretty high...3-1/4in heel. But they are so comfortable! And the best thing about them-is I get to use them for Jeff and Kelly's wedding, too...with this dress.

New dress

I bought a dress over the weekend....for my FBIL and SIL's wedding. It's plain..and simple. What do you think? I was planning on wearing a cute necklace and some black shoes (obviously). But then I thought...wouldn't it be cute with some black spandex capris?? Or would that be more for the office..??

New phone!

Friday I splurged and got a new phone. My phone hasn't been holding a charge for more than half the day...and I'm the QUEEN of texting..or checking email/myspace on my phone. I think I have an addiction problem actually. And my phone is almost 2 years old. I was up for an upgrade...only $99. I wanted the Samsung Glyde..but the guy said the touch screens have a 60/40 return rate. That surprised me since I had a LG Chocolate for 2 years...and haven't had problems. So...he talked me into the NEW LG eV2. I LOVE IT!!!! I can't stop playing with it! And text friendly and web friendly too! I can even blog on it now! Yippee! Now I have no excuse to post blogs!

I do have a confession to make. I'm a softy to new toys. I don't always wait for things to go on sale...or waiting until I NEED something. I usually don't have a phone for more than 6 months because I'm always wanting whats new and the best...But since I've moved out of the house and been on my own...I've gotten a lot better. I think I get this little flaw from my Dad. If you go to his house he has every gaming unit available. PS3, XBox, XBox 3....Blue-Ray disk player, 61' LCD flat screen TV (I COULD keep going..) but the difference between me and my Dad...is HE has the money. I don't. Well, I do..BUT I need to be saving up to buy my own house. I only have 3 more years here. But a girl needs to feel happy once in a while...and shopping and buy new shiny toys (or clothes) makes me HAPPY!
